Nice Weather, Weddings and Ballet, Oh my!

What a busy April and May for us! Annapolis is buzzing this time of year with graduations, weddings, and people out enjoying the nice weather. It's a great time to be a photographer!



We got away from the studio for a day and took a field trip to DC...the weather was perfect and we just couldn't resist the cherry blossoms!




We met Premier Planning Group at the State House to take some great group shots!





When two teachers get married at the high school they both teach at, you know it's going to be a great time! Jessica and Ryan were so much fun to work with!







The wedding of Jennifer and William brought us out to the Eastern Shore...and the rain let up just in time for a beautiful outdoor ceremony!









We had some more fun with the girls from Diva while photographing clothes from the Spring collection.





We were delighted to photograph the wedding of Alyson and David - what a beautiful family!

It wouldn't be Spring in Annapolis without Commissioning Week and a visit from the Blue Angels!

It was a pleasure to photograph the ballerinas and dancers at the Academy Ballet School for their production of Sleeping Beauty.

Spring Is Here!

Spring is officially here and we are ready to get back to shooting more outside! We are also ready to have a great wedding season and are excited for all the events coming up! As usual, we've been working on a variety of projects over the past couple months.

Ringing in 2009

Happy New Year!  We hope everyone is enjoying 2009 so far and is still having success with all their resolutions! We have a few resolutions of our own here at the studio, but mostly we are just happy to celebrate the completion of another successful holiday season.  We had a lot of fun this December and we wrapped up 2008 with a variety of projects. Here's a glimpse of what we've been up to...

We had a great time with all the families that came in to get portraits for their holiday cards!

It was a pleasure shooting the wedding of Stephanie and Daniel! Congratulations to the newlyweds!

The Blohm family was great to work with and their family portraits came out wonderfully!

We got some amazing interior shots (not to mention some delicious food!) at Paul's Homewood Cafe here in Annapolis.

We loved photographing all the couples and friends who attended this fabulous holiday party at the Loews Annapolis Hotel. 

The festivities continued at PPG's Breakfast with Santa! We had a blast meeting all the families and children that came by!

We spent a fun afternoon with the girls at the Diva boutique downtown. We couldn't have asked for a better set of models to show off the beautiful and unique clothing and accessories! 

One of the most fun projects we've been able to work on this season is shooting displays of holiday lights! We'll definitely be looking for more great displays next year too!

It was a treat shooting the interior of Annie's Paramount Steak & Seafood House all decked out for the holidays!

Finishing up November

The holiday season is officially here! We hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and thank you for checking out what we have been up to lately! November is coming to a close and we have finished up the month with some late fall weddings, a few fun shoots, and eating way too much turkey and apple pie. We are especially thankful that the weather has held out for our last few outdoor sessions. As the temperature goes down, we'll be doing some more creative shoots in the studio too- so check back soon and be sure to stay warm in the meantime!




We recently had a great afternoon in Baltimore with the law firm of Meringer, Zois & Quigg when they invited us into their office to get some updated photos. It should be illegal to have this much fun in a law office! ;)








Then the Zois family came in to get some photos of the boys just in time for the holidays - so adorable!




We joined the Kunst family in Southern Maryland for some family portraits at a couple of great outdoor locations. The rain held off just long enough to get all the shots- talk about lucky! :)

Busy Couple Weeks...

We have had a busy couple of weeks here at The Annapolis Photographer! Here is a little glimpse of what we have been up to lately.

We took advantage of the nice fall weather for an awesome senior portrait shoot right here in downtown Annapolis. Kevin got some particularly nice shots out by the boats!

Then we kicked off November with a corporate shoot to show off some interior (garage) and exterior work for TLC:




The Farrell family joined us in the studio for some lovely family portraits just in time for the holidays...talk about a great shot for the Christmas card!

We got some stunning shots of Alexis here in the studio!

Welcome...

The Annapolis Photographer has finally taken the plunge and decided to really update its online presence. The idea for this blog was floating around here for quite some time, but we are pretty excited now that is has finally come to fruition!  Thanks for taking a moment from your busy schedule to take a peek at what we have going on.  We have big plans for this blog including photos, videos and maybe even some witty commentary.
